I think what kills me about all variations of this take is that Black people in the US do this type action pretty consistently every few years, but when we burn things it's "bad optics" and "destroying our own communities" and, sometimes, a "CIA color revolution" @robpertray/1661108305698385920

      anyway the difference between how often Americans and the French go on strike has nothing to do with using inclusive language or pronouns or whatever and everything to do with how organized and powerful unions are
