    1. Have been frustrated lately with media analysis that basically boils down to "Did you know that this art is owned by a company......? And that companies want to make MONEY...................?????"

    We live under capitalism. ALL art has a profit pressure put onto it. However, critics act like media is only a soulless corporate project when they don't like something. When the critic did like something, magically, profit had nothing to do with its creation

      Maybe I'm guilty of this thinking too, especially in my earlier work. I don't know. I am saying I can do better. This isn't actually analysis
