  1. The thing about AI art is that is has applications. The ability to quickly generate concept art and iterate over designs could be extremely useful in the industry.       As someone who both works in AI research and does art, it super boggles my mind how there are AI people who constantly want to needle art people. As if it wasn't tech-inclined art people who worked on the AI? So weird

        And art people - don't worry about this stuff taking your job. First of all, it can't draw hands (or it seems, black women) But also, this stuff isn't going to take any jobs. Everyone has a camera in their pockets, and art survived. Art will survive this too
