Possible explanation #1 - Sometimes the creator in question is not a cishet straight dude. I don't buy the idea that, when men are horny, it's evil and bestial, but when women are horny, it's ✨ephemeral✨ and ✨aesthetic✨. But it is, like, different, and a nice change of pace

Possible explanation #3 - Sometimes the thing is egregiously horny, but it makes it clear from the get-go that being horny is half the point, so you can't fault the show for being itself. Keijo! is probably everyone's go-to example
