          1. I hope you don't mind the QRT here, I figured a thread would be easier to follow. I think there's multiple different possible reasons why a particular creator may "get a pass" (framing?) for being horny @alltsun_nodere/1547367126654001153

Possible explanation #1 - Sometimes the creator in question is not a cishet straight dude. I don't buy the idea that, when men are horny, it's evil and bestial, but when women are horny, it's ✨ephemeral✨ and ✨aesthetic✨. But it is, like, different, and a nice change of pace

Possible explanation #2 - Sometimes the hornyness is simply not awkward. Like, despite Revy having typical Anime Proportions (tm), I couldn't name a scene in Black Lagoon where the entire plot grinds to a halt just to go "owo? boobies?"
oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API

Possible explanation #3 - Sometimes the thing is egregiously horny, but it makes it clear from the get-go that being horny is half the point, so you can't fault the show for being itself. Keijo! is probably everyone's go-to example

Finally, possible explanation #4 - Sometimes the thing really is just as problematic as any other trashy thing, but people actually like THIS author's work. So instead of admitting their fav has problems, they argue that, for MY author, the fanservice is cool
