      1. So when NFTs were first getting popular earlier this y at wasn't it pitched at artists? Like, an actual artist who can draw sells a piece on the blockchain instead of doing a commission. Where did all these auto generated ones come from?

      Right because buying a token to a unique piece of art that is only available to you after purchase has value. It's still fake money that's horrible for the environment and all the artists that tried got screwed over but it at least made... some sense?

    But now you buy a token to a hyperlink on an image server of the absolute ugliest piece of shit you've ever seen. And all the images are available without paying. And no labor went into creating it. Like, how did this happen?
