  1. So this is definitely just me being a little burnt out from work and rambling while I wait to clock out from lunch but... does anyone ever think about how art is taught? Hear me out

      Like, your average facial anatomy course will tell you that eyes sit symmetrical on the face, along one continuous line around the head. But most people's eyes and noses are asymmetrical. So if I draw it that way why is that an "anatomy mistake"?

        Or if I draw big hands people will say "hmm maybe you should study anatomy more to learn how big human hands are supposed to be in relation to the rest". But I just have big hands. Are *my* proportions wrong? Did *God* need to study anatomy? What's going on here?
