I'll probably fill out this thread later but I had to tweet this
-
The Chinese "Federation" is already a union of states. What he's proposing is just the same thing, again. Which is weirdly apt for how Code Geass has been going so far
-
"The High Eunucs sold you out for their own ambitions" But that's what Lelouch is doing. The ideology of the show is "Lelouch should be in charge"
-
There's just a contradiction that the show doesn't seem to want to explore. At times, Lelouch is the smartest person in the room where everything he does is correct and he's the only one who knows the right thing to do. But he's also a flawed and emotional being who hurts people
-
And the show never brings up, like, the Lelouch who sells out the revolution to save his bourgeois sister as criticism against the idea that only Lelouch can lead people to liberation. All of that was Raghava not me
-
Lelouch after trying to overthrow the Chinese Federation for no good reason, picks a fight with the one group in the Chinese Federation who wants to overthrow them too. Lelouch doesn't coalition build, he makes others submit. It's literally his superpower after all
-
Lelouch gets half his entire army killed by people who should be working with him if he just got his head out of his ass and worked with others
-
why does anyone in this anime do anything?
-
that was 10, here's 11
-
Thinking about how evil the High Eunucs are portrayed, and how no Britannian ever gets this treatment even though they're a) the main antagonists b) settler-colonists
-
The show blames Shinke for not trusting Lelouch to save the princess instead of him, an inferior mind. Instead of Lelouch for pointlessly getting people killed for his ego or something
-
where did this knightmare come from? did he just get it? why is he only using it now? what's goin on here?
-
He actually pulls this out of his skinny and weirdly long ass
-
So Lelouch is now belittling Shinke, calling him pathetic, saying that he needs him and his great and awesome power. Like okay but what if you just went up to him last episode and went "yo let's coup together" less people would've died and you've have more resources
-
But no then Lulu doesn't get to be large and in charge
-
He could've just started with this conversation
-
If the show spent any time with ordinary people these riots would feel like something and not just an asspull. Hey remember the riots in Akudama Drive? Remember when the people finally turned against police and recognized their class enemies? Now THAT'S storytelling
-
The people don't even get to riot on their own for their material interests Zero has to manipulate them. Remember how in Akudama Drive where it was just this but better? yeah
-
Lelouch actually recuperates revolution. Amazing
-
someone just said "nations aren't systems"
-
no he says "nations aren't dirt and [the people] aren't systems"
-
This is a nitpick but how does he have cell service in the Chinese Federation. The US and France are allies but if I went to Paris I'd need a new SIM card. But two nations that have, up until now, been rivals and Lelouch's phone still works?
-
this is unimportant
-
why are the girls in swimsuits
-
Not really sure about the quality of this thread but I'm down to do one more w/o Rag so this is 12
-
let Sayako get some dam
-
The most unbelievable part of Code Geass is that Lelouch would be drowning in pussy
-
~China is whole again~ ~Then it broke again~ youtu.be/4zv5-SD9U1Y
-
ah who am I kidding
-
Lelouch's Geass has basically been a barrier to this story working at all since episode one so I'm at least interested to see what they come up with
-
Also, now that Suzaku's Geass has been undone he can die
