        Franxx makes sex so uncomfortable and weird. It's supposed to be a celebration of what men and women can make when they come together but every time two characters get intimate with each other the show makes it feel wrong and unnatural

      Think about this scene, where Hiro and 02 just kinda kiss and flirt. Think about how it's framed as glowy and happy. Compare to when 02 asks Hiro for sex. She's angry and vindictive and the entire process is painful and forced. Hiro bleeds. It's apparently "not real love".
