    1. Why is all the online vote Biden discourse entirely focused on what you as an individual should do, and not what the working class will do? We talk about this as if disaffected Berniecrats and communists have the numbers to swing an election. We... don't... so........... ?

Many people have been radicalized by Trump. Many of those people will vote for Biden as their first act of resistance against the system he controls. Cool. I mean it's not going to change or fix anything real, but that's not the point. Point is: what do we do about it?

And the answer is the same: - help build independent socialist organizations - don't let libs "go back to brunch" if Trump leaves - make sure people know reform isn't enough to fix what they care about - continue to call out just how many people the system hurts here and abroad

I'm making a new rule for myself: every time I see left discourse, if it's not something I could imagine talking about to a normal person in a way they'd understand, I am officially too online. Either the convo needs to be reframed or I need to pay attention to something else

"Does voting for Biden make you a shitlib succdem?" is not something a normal person would understand. "How do we make sure things get better after the election?" is. So that tells me we spend 2% of our time on question 1 and 98% on question 2
